?       An outdoor environment is more diverse than the same wall you look at every day inside. Variety of trails, scenery and wildlife can help keep you more entertained and engaged in your workout. Changing terrain engages muscles that may not be used in a controlled environment such as the gym.

Outdoor Activities in Ithaca

Here are some great ways to spend time outside while being active:

?       Kayaking and Stand Up Paddleboarding: Kayaking and paddleboarding are both great ways to exercise and explore the outdoors. Paddling uses upper body muscles while the wobbliness of the kayak or paddleboard engages your core and helps with balance. Puddledockers and Paddle-N-More are two great places to rent in downtown Ithaca.
