Trainer Tips with Barbara Ciaschi

Balance is an interplay between your eyes, ears, brain, and muscles. As we age, eye sight can diminish, hearing and muscle loss occur, and slower reaction time, which all play in our ability to keep ourselves balanced. You can take action to improve your balance and prevent falls by practicing balance, just as you would strength train your muscles. Try the flamingo trick by standing on one leg while doing an every day chore like brushing your teeth.
