This 55 minute ballet barre class targets all areas of the body using small isometric movements to help increase flexibility, balance and muscle tone. Ballet barre is a challenging yet low-impact class that is suitable for all ages!

In order to last 12 rounds, boxers have to have great cardiovascular conditioning and now you can get in the same type of shape. This 6 week class will put you through the rigors so you can go the distance and be in the best shape of your life. You’ll also learn proper boxing fundamentals!

KidFit is a 6 week program for kids ages 8-12 to learn healthy eating and exercise habits while having fun! KidFit is perfect for kids who struggle with weight management or who don’t get enough physical activity.

W.O.W. Starts January 2017!
Tuedsays and Thursdays 1:00pm - 2:00pm

Strength training should have a place in everyone’s fitness regimen. Particularly Women!  With Women on Weights, you’ll learn the proper way to incorporate strength training as well as core, balance and flexibility exercises into your life.

Will I bulk up lifting weights?
No, but you can potentially burn more calories than with just a cardio workout. Research has shown you can continue to burn calories for several hours after strength training.

Cayuga Coaching : Group Run

Join us for a group run every Friday Morning at 6:00AM
All level runners and paces are welcome!

We will start at Island downtown and run outdoors around the
Cass Park Trailhead. This group run is totally FREE so bring along any fellow runners, friends, family and join the fun!

If you have little or no swim experience, but want to learn, this is the class for you. Learn basic skills, get comfortable, build your confidence and start moving through the water in no time. Breathing techniques, floating, submersion and basic swimming strokes will be covered.

Mindfulness-Based Stress Program

The Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program is an 8-week course that instructs participants in mindfulness meditation and stress reduction practices. Course participants learn and practice mindfulness meditation and stress reduction techniques in a supportive group environment. 

Next round of classes starts Saturday October 29th.

Functional Movement Screening Test

Functional Movement Screen (FMS) was created as a means to evaluate an individual’s mobility, movement patterning, core stability and neuromuscular coordination.

 

FMS contains seven basic tests that identify weaknesses and asymmetries that increase the chance of injury.

 

FMS has been shown to reduce both the risk factors for injuries and costsassociated with injuries.
